Willie Walleye is a Winner! The popular children's book Willie Walleye-Underwater Adventures won first place in the Midwestern Independent Publishers Association in the child/young adult category. The award was presented at the 2008 Book Awards in St. Paul, MN on May 13, 2009. The Association represents independent publishers in the 12 Midwest states. Ed Zottola, aka, Dr Z, wrote the book. He lives on the western shores of Lake Vermilion with his wife and family. Illustrations were created by Nancy Scheibe of Ely and published by Singing River Publications also of Ely.
